It is lined with wire and shaped to curve around the sides of the head. The pink satin is ruched and gathered to form a rose like shape, framed by blue velvet at the bottom. The hat is lined in a thick white mesh that helps it to hold its shape. The hat is in very good to excellent vintage condition, particularly for a piece approaching 80 years of age
